Rounds for May 31st!!!

Greetings all!

Feel free to extend the Memorial Day weekend by coming to Pub Quiz!

I'll be joined by co-host and friend Ryan Osgood. He has the following to say about tomorrow night:

As you may know I am a semi-regular at the pub trivia held Tuesday nights at the Globe Pub on Irving Park in Chicago. Quizmaster Dave puts on a good show and raises money every week benefiting the MS Society of Illinois. Once a month, though, he lets someone else write most of the quiz and help him out. Whoever helps gets that night’s charitable proceeds to donate to the cause of their choosing. On Tuesday, May 31st I’ll be helping out and I’d love to have your company and support at the quiz. In the past I’ve raised money for the American Heart Association and Friends Against Aids. This year I have chosen to raise money for First Slice.

First Slice, with locations in Albany Park, Ravenswood, and Streeterville, is an organization that helps fight hunger in Chicago. It does so by using the proceeds from its food subscription service and its cafes which specialize in pies and baked goods. They also take monetary and volunteer donations. More information about the organization can be found at firstslice.org.

The quiz runs from 8-10pm on Tuesday, May 31st. If you can make, there’s no need to RSVP, just show up at the Globe, head to the back room, and find a seat. If you can’t make it, please consider First Slice in your charitable giving this year or if you’re in Chicago consider a subscription. As an additional way of raising funds, we may hold a raffle. If you have any items you’d like to donate that are suitable for raffling, I’d very much appreciate them. Sports and event tickets work well for this, but email me if you have any other ideas.

Finally, please feel free to forward this on to anyone else who might enjoy a fun way to spend Tuesday night. The only requirement for attending is to be 21 or over.

Ryan's been in the co-host seat more than once, and he always does an amazing job with questions. Please come out to support him and his fundraising tomorrow.

Without further ado, here's the rounds:
1) Lo Him Nausea 12 pts
2) Watery Tokens 11 pts
3) Finish The Lyrics 13 pts
4) Chemical States Round 16 pts
5) Dead Or Canadian 11 pts
6) Pictures 15 pts
7) General Knowledge 22 pts

The Cubs have a 7:05 home game scheduled, so please plan your travel accordingly. As always, please arrive early for the best tables, and the show will start at 8! See you then!
